Job Description

A vibrant restaurant is seeking an organised and people-focused HR Officer to support daily workforce operations, strengthen staff engagement, and help maintain a positive working culture across all departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving workplace issues, and ensuring smooth HR processes in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment processes including job postings, screening, and onboarding of new staff
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is properly updated
  • Support payroll coordination and attendance tracking
  • Handle staff welfare, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns professionally
  • Assist in performance management and staff appraisal processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and labour standards
  • Coordinate training and staff development activities

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in human resources or administrative support role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of employee relations and workplace management
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with basic HR tools and record-keeping systems
