Job Description
A vibrant restaurant is seeking an organised and people-focused HR Officer to support daily workforce operations, strengthen staff engagement, and help maintain a positive working culture across all departments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving workplace issues, and ensuring smooth HR processes in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment processes including job postings, screening, and onboarding of new staff
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is properly updated
- Support payroll coordination and attendance tracking
- Handle staff welfare, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns professionally
- Assist in performance management and staff appraisal processes
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and labour standards
- Coordinate training and staff development activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in human resources or administrative support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of employee relations and workplace management
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with basic HR tools and record-keeping systems
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
