HR Officer

Job Description

A well-established hospitality environment is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to support people operations, staff engagement, and organizational growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a service-driven setting and understands the importance of building a positive workplace culture in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including screening, interviews, onboarding, and orientation
• Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in line with internal policies
• Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback systems
• Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance on workplace policies and procedures
• Coordinate training and development initiatives to improve staff performance and service quality
• Assist in payroll preparation and attendance monitoring in collaboration with relevant departments
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal HR standards
• Support welfare programs and initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR or people management role, preferably within hospitality or service industries
• Strong understanding of recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional approach
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in HR systems, documentation, and basic digital tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and management levels
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a people-first attitude
