Expediter

Job Description

We’re looking for a sharp, organized, and confident Expediter to join our restaurant team. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, have a great eye for detail, and love being the bridge between the kitchen and the front-of-house team, this role is for you. You’ll play a key part in ensuring every dish leaves the pass perfectly presented and on time.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the flow of orders between the kitchen and service team

• Ensure all dishes are prepared correctly and meet presentation standards before leaving the kitchen

• Communicate clearly with chefs and servers regarding order timing and special requests

• Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders efficiently

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization around the pass

• Quickly resolve any issues with incorrect or delayed orders

• Support the team during peak service hours to keep operations running smoothly

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant environment preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure

• Excellent attention to detail and time management

• Basic understanding of food presentation and kitchen workflow

• A proactive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
