Job Description

We’re looking for a calm, observant, and highly organized Expediter to be the vital link between our kitchen and front-of-house team. This role is all about timing, communication, and ensuring every dish leaves the kitchen exactly as it should, hot, complete, and beautifully presented. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the perfect fit.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of orders between kitchen staff and service team
• Ensure all dishes are accurate, complete, and presented to standard before leaving the pass
• Communicate clearly with chefs and waitstaff to maintain smooth service timing
• Prioritize orders based on preparation time and table needs
• Monitor ticket times and help reduce delays during busy service periods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the pass area
• Assist in resolving order issues quickly and efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fast-paced food service environment preferred
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused during peak service hours
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and menu flow is an advantage
