Job Description

We are looking for a cheerful and attentive Waitress to join our café team. You will be one of the friendly faces customers meet, helping create a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and guide them to their tables.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen or service team.
• Serve meals, beverages, and desserts promptly and professionally.
• Check on customers during their visit and respond to requests courteously.
• Keep tables, service areas, and dining spaces clean and well organised.
• Process customer bills and payments accurately.
• Work closely with colleagues to keep café service running smoothly.
• Handle customer concerns calmly and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waitress, server, or in a customer-facing role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident, and approachable personality.
• Good attention to detail and ability to take accurate orders.
• Ability to remain organised and positive during busy periods.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling bills and payments.
• Professional appearance and a strong commitment to customer service.
