Waitress

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Waitress to join our coffee shop team. If you enjoy working in a welcoming, fast paced environment and take pride in delivering excellent service, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with seating when required.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on food and beverage selections.
• Accurately take customer orders and communicate them to the barista and kitchen team.
• Serve coffee, beverages, and meals promptly while ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
• Check on guests during their visit to ensure satisfaction and address requests professionally.
• Process cash and electronic payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout each shift.
• Refill condiments, napkins, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards at all times.
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a waitress, server, or in customer service is an advantage but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic numerical skills for handling payments and transactions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry serving trays safely.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and working collaboratively within a team.
