Our café is a welcoming destination where great food, quality drinks, and attentive service come together. We are looking for a friendly and dependable Waitress to join our team and help create a positive experience for every guest. The successful candidate will take pride in excellent customer service, maintain a professional appearance, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the café.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating when required.
• Present menus, explain available dishes and beverages, and answer customer questions.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen or barista team.
• Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check on guests during their visit and respond courteously to requests.
• Process bills and payments accurately when required.
• Keep tables, service areas, and dining spaces clean and well organised.
• Replenish cutlery, napkins, condiments, and other service supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and café service standards.
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waitress, server, or in a customer-facing café or restaurant role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service attitude with a friendly and approachable manner.
• Good attention to detail and ability to handle orders accurately.
• Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods.
• Professional presentation and reliable work ethic.
• Basic numeracy and confidence handling payments.
• Food safety or customer service training is an advantage.
