Job Description

Our café is looking for a friendly and energetic Server to join the team. If you enjoy meeting people, staying active, and making sure every guest has a great experience, you will fit right in. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders accurately, and keeping service running smoothly from the first coffee to the last table.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating and menu choices.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Serve meals, drinks, and refreshments in a professional manner.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure they are satisfied.
• Process customer requests and communicate special instructions to the kitchen.
• Maintain clean and organised tables and service areas.
• Handle payments accurately and provide receipts when required.
• Respond to customer questions, feedback, and concerns politely.
• Work closely with café staff to deliver efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Server, Waiter, or in a customer-facing role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, attentive, and confident personality.
• Good numeracy skills and accuracy when handling orders and payments.
• Ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
