Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, attentive, and service-focused Server to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will play an important role in creating enjoyable dining experiences by welcoming guests, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages efficiently, and ensuring tables receive thoughtful and professional attention throughout each visit.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience.
• Present menus, explain dishes, and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve meals and beverages promptly while maintaining professional service standards.
• Check on guests regularly and respond quickly to additional requests.
• Maintain clean, organised, and well-presented dining areas.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately when required.
• Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle guest concerns courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and restaurant service procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Server, Waiter, or in a similar restaurant role is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
• Professional appearance and a positive, approachable attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when taking orders.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling bills and payments.
• Food safety or customer service training is an advantage.
