Lounge Manager

Job Description

A vibrant bar is looking for a confident and experienced Lounge Manager to lead daily operations and create an outstanding guest experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and is committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day to day operations of the lounge to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise bar and floor staff.
• Deliver a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.
• Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the lounge.
• Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate shift coverage.
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and service recovery professionally.
• Monitor stock levels and work with inventory procedures to minimise waste.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Support the planning and execution of special events and promotions.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements to enhance performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a lounge, bar, or similar food and beverage establishment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to maintain high service standards in a busy environment.
• Experience with stock control, cash handling, and operational reporting.
• Good organisational and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in point of sale systems and basic computer applications is an advantage.
• A customer focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
