We are seeking a confident and organised Lounge Manager to oversee daily activities, lead the team, maintain excellent guest service, and ensure the bar delivers a polished and enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate should combine strong people-management skills with commercial awareness and a genuine understanding of bar operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lounge and bar.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate bartenders, servers, and support staff.
• Maintain consistently high standards of customer service.
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, storage, and beverage usage.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve service issues promptly.
• Prepare staff schedules and coordinate daily assignments.
• Monitor sales, cash handling, and operational expenses.
• Ensure cleanliness, presentation, safety, and licensing standards are maintained.
• Support promotional activities, events, and special occasions.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing performance guidance.
• Collaborate with management to improve revenue and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Bar Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in bar, lounge, restaurant, or nightlife management.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, stock control, and bar operations.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of cash management and basic financial reporting.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional appearance and confident interpersonal skills.
