Job Description

Our hotel is looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to help maintain attractive, safe, and well-kept outdoor spaces that create a welcoming first impression for every guest. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining beautiful landscapes, and pays close attention to detail. As a Groundskeeper, you will play an important role in preserving the appearance and functionality of the hotel’s gardens, lawns, walkways, and recreational areas while supporting a clean and inviting environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, flower beds, shrubs, and landscaped areas.
• Plant, water, prune, fertilize, and weed outdoor spaces as needed.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and basic gardening tools safely.
• Keep pathways, parking areas, entrances, and outdoor facilities clean and free of debris.
• Remove leaves, litter, and other waste from hotel grounds.
• Monitor irrigation systems and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and outdoor decorations.
• Ensure outdoor furniture, signage, and recreational areas remain presentable.
• Support basic exterior maintenance tasks when required.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, gardening, or outdoor property maintenance is preferred.
• Good knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and landscaping techniques.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and hand tools.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to take initiative.
