Groundskeeper

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Groundskeeper who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining clean, attractive, and safe surroundings for guests, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and other landscaped areas.
• Mow grass, trim hedges, remove weeds, and prune plants as needed.
• Water plants and monitor outdoor areas for maintenance needs.
• Keep walkways, entrances, gardens, and outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
• Collect leaves, branches, litter, and other garden waste.
• Operate and care for basic gardening and groundskeeping equipment.
• Report damaged outdoor facilities, irrigation issues, or safety hazards.
• Assist with seasonal planting, landscaping, and general outdoor maintenance.
• Follow hotel safety and cleanliness standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, gardening, landscaping, or a similar role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of basic gardening and lawn-care practices.
• Ability to safely use common gardening tools and equipment.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Good attention to cleanliness, detail, and property appearance.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with other hotel team members.
