Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meat, poultry, seafood, and vegetable dishes using grilling techniques.
• Monitor cooking temperatures to ensure food is prepared safely and consistently.
• Season, marinate, and portion ingredients according to established recipes.
• Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality before preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grill station throughout each shift.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.
• Minimize food waste through proper handling and storage practices.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with inventory checks and report stock shortages when necessary.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Grillardin, Grill Cook, or in a similar kitchen position within a restaurant.
• Strong understanding of grilling techniques for different types of meat, seafood, and vegetables.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain organized and perform well under pressure.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and safely operate grilling equipment.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and dedication to delivering exceptional food quality.
