Love coffee and curious about what makes a truly great cup? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Green Coffee Buyer to join our coffee shop team. In this role, you’ll help source high-quality green coffee beans, build supplier relationships, monitor coffee quality, and contribute to creating memorable coffee experiences for our customers. Responsibilities

• Source and purchase high-quality green coffee beans from trusted suppliers and producers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with coffee farms, exporters, and vendors
• Assess bean quality through cupping, sampling, and market research
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing schedules to maintain stock availability
• Stay informed about coffee trends, pricing, sustainability practices, and harvest cycles
• Work closely with roasting and operations teams to ensure consistency and quality
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements where necessary
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports

Qualifications

• Previous experience in coffee sourcing, procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or a related role
• Strong knowledge of coffee origins, green coffee grading, and quality standards is an advantage
• Good analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Ability to assess quality and make informed purchasing decisions
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Comfortable working with inventory systems, reports, and spreadsheets
• A passion for specialty coffee and coffee culture is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
