A well established hotel is seeking a proactive and detail oriented Floor Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and maintain exceptional standards across guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate daily work assignments.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
• Monitor room readiness and communicate updates with the front office team.
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping employees to maintain high performance.
• Ensure cleaning procedures comply with hotel policies and safety standards.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment, reporting shortages when necessary.
• Address guest requests and resolve housekeeping related concerns promptly.
• Prepare daily reports on room status, maintenance issues, and staff performance.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to report and follow up on repair requests.
• Promote a positive, productive, and professional work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, with supervisory experience in a hotel preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspect work thoroughly and maintain high quality standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, and safety practices.
• Physically capable of performing supervisory inspections throughout the property.
• Proficiency in using basic computer applications for reporting and scheduling is an advantage.
