Floor Supervisor

Job Description

Our hotel is looking for a confident and dependable Floor Supervisor to help keep daily operations running smoothly. You will play an important role in coordinating floor activities, supporting team members, and making sure guests receive attentive and professional service from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and coordinate daily floor activities.
• Assign duties and monitor team performance throughout each shift.
• Ensure guest requests and concerns are handled promptly.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
• Support staff during busy periods and help resolve operational issues.
• Communicate important updates between team members and management.
• Monitor supplies, equipment, and floor readiness.
• Train and guide new employees on hotel procedures and service standards.
• Prepare shift reports and communicate relevant issues to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or similar service environment.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
• A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
