Floor Supervisor

Job Description

Our hotel is committed to delivering organised, attentive and professional service across every guest-facing area. We are seeking a capable Floor Supervisor to coordinate daily floor operations, support team members and ensure guests receive a consistently high standard of service. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills while maintaining a welcoming and efficient hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise floor staff and coordinate daily activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor service standards and address guest needs promptly and professionally.
• Assign duties, organise staff schedules and ensure adequate floor coverage.
• Inspect guest-facing areas to maintain cleanliness, order and presentation.
• Support team members during busy periods and provide guidance when needed.
• Handle guest concerns tactfully and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, and maintenance teams.
• Monitor supplies, equipment and operational requirements on the floor.
• Train new employees on service procedures, safety standards and hotel policies.
• Prepare shift reports and communicate important updates to management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience in a hotel or service-focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of guest service standards and daily hotel operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Professional appearance and a service-oriented attitude.
