Job Description

A well-established hotel is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Floor Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of guest room floors and support the housekeeping team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, and the ability to ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of housekeeping staff on assigned floors.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.
• Coordinate room readiness with the front office and housekeeping teams.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor staff productivity and performance.
• Train, coach, and support team members to maintain high service standards.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure prompt resolution.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
• Handle guest requests and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
• Prepare daily reports and communicate operational updates to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Floor Supervisor, Housekeeping Supervisor, or in a similar supervisory role within a hotel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and scheduling.
