Job Description

A busy hotel is looking for enthusiastic and service-driven Event Servers to help deliver exceptional experiences during conferences, weddings, banquets, corporate functions, and private events. Responsibilities

• Prepare event venues before guest arrival by setting up tables, chairs, linens, tableware, and décor according to event requirements.
• Welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner throughout each event.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
• Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Clear tables, replenish supplies, and maintain cleanliness during and after events.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown where required.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, banquet supervisors, and fellow team members to ensure smooth event operations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Handle equipment and serving materials with care.
• Support the setup and breakdown of multiple events while meeting scheduled timelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience serving at banquets, events, restaurants, hotels, or similar food service environments is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods and lifting event equipment when necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Well-groomed appearance with a commitment to professional service standards.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices is desirable.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
