Event Server

Job Description

Our hotel is looking for an energetic and guest-focused Event Server to join our events team. If you enjoy working around people, keeping things organised, and making sure guests have a great experience, you will fit right in. You will play an important role in weddings, conferences, celebrations, meetings, and other hotel events.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, serving stations, and event areas before guests arrive.
• Welcome guests and provide attentive, friendly table service.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Keep tables, service areas, and event spaces clean and presentable.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and assist with special requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth service.
• Clear plates, glasses, and other items throughout the event.
• Follow hotel service, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Assist with event breakdown and clean-up after functions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel, restaurant, catering, or event service is an advantage.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, confident, and professional attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and organised during busy events.
• Good teamwork and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
• Food safety or customer service training is an added advantage.
