Event Server

Job Description

Our restaurant is seeking a friendly, attentive, and energetic Event Server to support memorable dining experiences during private functions, celebrations, corporate gatherings, and special events. The successful candidate will deliver polished table service, respond promptly to guest needs, and work closely with the restaurant team to ensure every event runs smoothly from setup through closing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining and event areas before guests arrive.
• Welcome guests and provide attentive table service throughout events.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve meals, drinks, and other items efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain clean, organised tables and service areas.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and resolve minor concerns promptly.
• Assist with clearing tables, resetting service areas, and event breakdown.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and restaurant service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server, waiter, or in event service is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a professional appearance.
• Ability to remain calm and organised during busy events.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service practices.
• A certificate or diploma in Hospitality, Food Service, or a related field is an advantage.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, reliability, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
