Job Description

A busy hotel is looking for an enthusiastic Event Server to help deliver exceptional service at weddings, conferences, banquets, private parties, and special events. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, and dining equipment
• Welcome guests and provide attentive food and beverage service
• Serve meals and drinks according to hotel standards
• Assist with buffet stations, plated service, and beverage stations
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout events
• Clear tables and assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup
• Work closely with event coordinators, kitchen staff, and supervisors
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Help ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet service, restaurant service, catering, or event operations is an advantage
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Capable of lifting and carrying event equipment when required
• Food safety certification is beneficial but not required
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
