Job Description

Our hotel is committed to creating a polished, secure, and welcoming arrival experience for every guest. We are seeking a dependable Doorkeeper to manage the main entrance, assist arriving and departing guests, and help maintain an organised and professional atmosphere around the hotel entrance. The ideal candidate is attentive, courteous, well-presented, and confident when interacting with guests and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and visitors warmly as they enter and leave the hotel.
• Open and hold doors for guests, assisting with luggage when required.
• Monitor the main entrance and maintain awareness of activity around the entrance area.
• Provide directions and basic information about hotel facilities and services.
• Assist elderly guests, families, and guests who may require additional support.
• Coordinate with the front desk, security, and other hotel teams when necessary.
• Help manage vehicles and guest arrivals during busy periods.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and presentable entrance area.
• Report unusual incidents, guest concerns, or security issues to the appropriate team.
• Deliver consistently courteous service while representing the hotel professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel, customer service, security, or guest-facing role is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance with excellent personal grooming.
• Ability to remain calm, attentive, and courteous in busy situations.
• Good awareness of safety and security procedures.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and assist with luggage when needed.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a hotel team.
