Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
• Keep dishwashing stations clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Sanitize kitchen tools and food preparation areas according to hygiene standards
• Dispose of waste and recycling in the appropriate containers
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to maintain a safe workspace
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when required
• Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation tasks as needed
• Report damaged equipment or maintenance concerns to supervisors
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Help maintain an efficient workflow during busy service periods

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar cleaning role within a restaurant is an advantage
• Good understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies when necessary
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Positive attitude with a willingness to support the entire kitchen team
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others
