This role is ideal for someone who appreciates quality, consistency, and the art of bringing out the best in every bean. Responsibilities

• Roast coffee beans to maintain quality, consistency, and flavour standards
• Monitor roasting profiles and adjust temperatures, timing, and batch settings as needed
• Inspect green coffee beans and identify quality concerns before roasting
• Package, label, and organise roasted coffee inventory properly
• Maintain roasting equipment and ensure cleanliness of the roasting area
• Work closely with café staff to support coffee quality and customer satisfaction
• Keep accurate records of roast batches, inventory, and production schedules

Qualifications

• Previous experience in coffee roasting or a strong passion for specialty coffee is an advantage
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency
• Understanding of coffee roasting techniques, flavour profiles, and bean handling is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a team-focused environment
• Positive attitude and commitment to quality coffee experiences
