There’s something special about turning green coffee beans into the rich aroma that fills a café. We’re looking for a Coffee Roaster who is passionate about craft, precision, and the story behind every cup. If you enjoy working hands-on with coffee and refining flavor profiles, this role brings that experience to life every day.

Responsibilities

• Roast coffee beans to established profiles while maintaining consistent quality
• Monitor roasting process, adjusting temperature, timing, and airflow as needed
• Conduct regular cupping sessions to evaluate flavor, aroma, and body
• Maintain roasting equipment and ensure a clean, safe workspace
• Track roast data and update production records accurately
• Collaborate with baristas and café team to align roast profiles with brewing methods
• Source feedback and help refine blends and single-origin offerings

Qualifications

• Prior experience in coffee roasting or strong hands-on training in specialty coffee
• Good understanding of roast levels and flavor development
• Ability to identify taste notes through cupping or sensory evaluation
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Basic knowledge of coffee equipment maintenance is an advantage
• Ability to work independently while following production schedules
• Passion for specialty coffee and willingness to keep learning
