There is something deeply satisfying about transforming raw green beans into the rich, aromatic coffee that customers fall in love with every day. We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Coffee Roaster to bring precision, creativity, and consistency to our roasting process while helping shape the flavor identity of our coffee shop. You will be responsible for developing roast profiles, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring every batch reflects our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Roast green coffee beans to desired profiles for different blends and single origins
• Monitor roasting time, temperature, and airflow to ensure consistency and quality
• Cup and evaluate roasted coffee to maintain flavor standards
• Maintain and clean roasting equipment regularly
• Track roast data and adjust profiles based on feedback and results
• Work closely with baristas and management to align roasting with menu needs
• Manage green bean inventory and storage conditions

Qualifications

• Prior experience in coffee roasting or strong hands-on exposure to specialty coffee production
• Solid understanding of roast profiles, bean development, and flavor profiling
• Ability to cup coffee and identify flavor notes and defects
• Comfort working with roasting equipment and basic maintenance practices
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in production work
• Passion for specialty coffee and willingness to keep learning and experimenting
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
