Do you have a passion for chocolate and a flair for creating irresistible treats? Our café is looking for a talented Chocolatier to join our creative kitchen team. If you enjoy crafting high-quality chocolate products and bringing new dessert ideas to life, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce a variety of handcrafted chocolates, truffles, bonbons, and chocolate-based desserts.
- Temper, mold, decorate, and package chocolate products to a high standard.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal chocolate offerings.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and assist with stock control.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the pastry and café teams to create unique menu items.
- Minimize waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Chocolatier, Pastry Chef, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, molding, and confectionery techniques.
- Creativity and attention to detail in product presentation.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
