Job Description
Do you have a passion for creating exquisite chocolate treats and desserts? We are looking for a talented and creative Chocolatier to join our café team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys crafting high-quality chocolate products, experimenting with flavors, and delivering exceptional sweet experiences for customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and create a variety of chocolate products, including truffles, pralines, bonbons, bars, and specialty desserts.
- Temper, mold, and decorate chocolate to maintain premium quality and presentation standards.
- Develop new chocolate recipes and seasonal menu offerings.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of all products.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and assist with ordering supplies when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and café operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and café team to support daily operations and special events.
- Minimize waste and maximize efficient use of ingredients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Chocolatier, Pastry Chef, Baker, or in a similar confectionery role.
- Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, molding, enrobing, and decorative techniques.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
