Job Description

Do you have a passion for chocolate and a flair for creating irresistible treats? Our café is looking for a talented Chocolatier to join our creative kitchen team. If you enjoy crafting high-quality chocolate products and bringing new dessert ideas to life, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce a variety of handcrafted chocolates, truffles, bonbons, and chocolate-based desserts.
  • Temper, mold, decorate, and package chocolate products to a high standard.
  • Develop new recipes and seasonal chocolate offerings.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and assist with stock control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the pastry and café teams to create unique menu items.
  • Minimize waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Chocolatier, Pastry Chef, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, molding, and confectionery techniques.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in product presentation.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
