Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our restaurant team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food environment, supporting daily operations, and helping create a smooth dining experience for guests. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, service support, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and presentation according to restaurant standards
• Support chefs and service teams during busy periods
• Set up dining and service areas before operations begin
• Serve food and beverages while maintaining a professional attitude
• Keep kitchen, storage, and service areas clean and organised
• Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking supplies
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health procedures
• Handle customer requests politely and efficiently
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a catering, restaurant, or food service environment is an advantage
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
