Job Description

Our hotel is seeking a courteous, energetic, and dependable Bellhop to join our guest services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting guests with luggage, providing directions, supporting arrivals and departures, and helping create a smooth and welcoming experience throughout their stay. If you are attentive, physically capable, and enjoy assisting people, we would be pleased to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage.
• Transport guest luggage safely to and from rooms, vehicles, and designated storage areas.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain key hotel facilities and services.
• Assist guests with transportation arrangements and general enquiries.
• Maintain an organised and presentable luggage storage area.
• Coordinate with the front desk and other hotel teams regarding guest requests.
• Handle guest belongings carefully and report any damaged or misplaced items.
• Provide courteous assistance during guest arrivals, departures, and special occasions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and consistently deliver attentive service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bellhop, Porter, Guest Services Assistant, or in a similar hotel role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to handle luggage safely.
• Professional, courteous, and service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods.
• Basic knowledge of hotel operations and guest service procedures is an advantage.
