Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and courteous Bellhop to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will assist guests with luggage, provide helpful information, support smooth arrivals and departures, and maintain a professional presence throughout the property.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist with luggage upon arrival and departure.
• Transport guests’ bags safely to and from rooms, vehicles, and designated storage areas.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain key hotel facilities and services when required.
• Assist guests with transportation arrangements, directions, and general enquiries.
• Handle luggage carefully and maintain accurate awareness of stored belongings.
• Support the front desk and other hotel departments during busy periods.
• Maintain the luggage area, entrance, and assigned guest-service areas in an orderly condition.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Report maintenance concerns, lost property, or unusual incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and guest-service procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bellhop, Porter, Guest Service Assistant, or in a similar hotel role is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, courteous, and well-presented manner.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move guest luggage safely.
• Strong awareness of guest privacy and property security.
• Good teamwork and the ability to remain calm during busy periods.
• Basic knowledge of hotel services and local transportation is an advantage.
• A secondary school qualification is preferred; additional training in customer service or hotel operations is an advantage.
