Assistant Bar Manager

We’re looking for a confident and hands-on Assistant Bar Manager to help lead a busy, energetic bar team. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and knows how to keep service running smoothly during busy shifts. You’ll support the Bar Manager with daily operations while motivating the team to perform at their best.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bar Manager in overseeing daily bar operations
• Lead shifts and ensure fast, friendly, professional service
• Train, coach, and motivate bar staff
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and licensing standards
• Handle customer feedback calmly and professionally
• Help drive sales through promotions and upselling

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role
• Strong cocktail, beverage, and service knowledge
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment
• Cash handling and basic stock control experience
• Positive attitude with a passion for customer service
