Assistant Bar Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar.
• Support the Bar Manager in supervising, training, and motivating bar staff.
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering and control.
• Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist with scheduling staff shifts and managing labor costs.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Support the implementation of promotions, events, and sales initiatives.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a bar, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, bar operations, and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience training and mentoring team members is an advantage.
• Proficiency in POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Relevant hospitality certifications are a plus.
