Assistant Bar Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and well-organized Assistant Bar Manager to support daily bar operations, maintain service excellence, and help create a lively and professional hospitality experience for guests. The ideal candidate is confident in leadership support, customer engagement, and maintaining high standards behind the bar.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bar Manager in overseeing daily bar operations
• Supervise bartenders and bar staff during shifts
• Ensure smooth and efficient drink service during peak hours
• Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control, and report shortages
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
• Support staff training and onboarding of new team members
• Ensure compliance with bar policies and service procedures
• Assist in planning promotions and improving customer experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar, lounge, or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations
• Good leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
• Basic understanding of inventory management and stock control
• Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
