Accounts Manager

Our hotel is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining strong operational and financial standards. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee financial activities, strengthen internal controls, and ensure accurate and timely reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with management and department heads to support sound financial decisions and maintain efficient accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including income, expenses, payments, and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and hotel revenue.
• Review financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Establish and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
• Coordinate payroll processing and verify related financial records.
• Monitor departmental spending and investigate significant variances.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.
• Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance on financial procedures.
• Work with management to identify opportunities for cost control and improved profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting or financial management experience, preferably within a hotel or service-focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls.
• Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of financial integrity.
• Ability to manage confidential information and meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Previous experience supervising or leading an accounting team is an advantage.
