Training Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Training Manager to lead learning and development initiatives within our hotel. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing people, improving service standards, and creating engaging training programs that support employee growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate training programs for all hotel departments.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation sessions for new employees.
• Identify training needs through performance reviews and operational assessments.
• Develop learning materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
• Deliver workshops focused on customer service, communication, safety, and compliance.
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Support department managers with coaching and employee development strategies.
• Keep training content aligned with industry best practices and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Training Manager, Learning and Development Manager, or in a similar training role within a hotel.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience developing training materials and delivering engaging learning sessions.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to analyze performance gaps and implement effective development plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management systems is an advantage.
• Professional certifications in training, learning and development, human resources, or leadership are an added advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across multiple departments while promoting a positive learning culture.
