Training Manager

Are you passionate about developing people and creating high-performing teams? We are looking for a Training Manager to lead learning and development initiatives in our restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching employees, improving service standards, and building engaging training programs that support operational excellence and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate training programs for new and existing employees.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for newly hired team members.
• Deliver engaging training sessions covering customer service, food safety, operational procedures, and workplace policies.
• Assess training needs and recommend development plans for different departments.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching to improve skills and productivity.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with department supervisors to identify performance gaps and training opportunities.
• Support leadership development initiatives and succession planning.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
• Promote a positive learning culture that encourages continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in training, learning and development, or restaurant operations.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards, food safety, and operational best practices.
• Excellent presentation, coaching, and facilitation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to create structured training materials and learning resources.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital training tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop employees at all levels.
