Shift Supervisor

Job Description

We’re a lively and welcoming cafe that loves good coffee, great food, and creating a space where our community feels at home. We’re looking for a motivated Shift Supervisor to help lead our team during busy shifts, ensure smooth operations, and make sure every guest leaves with a smile.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate the cafe team during your shift, ensuring high performance and positive energy

• Manage daily operations including opening and closing procedures

• Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly

• Assist with staff training and mentoring new team members

• Maintain inventory, stock levels, and overall cafe cleanliness

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant, preferably in a supervisory role

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Passion for excellent customer service

• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems
