Security Officer

A well-established hotel is looking for a vigilant, professional, and dependable Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, visitors, and team members. Key Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises regularly to maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access control points.
• Welcome guests professionally while remaining alert to security concerns.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and guest assistance requests.
• Conduct routine inspections of entrances, exits, parking areas, and public spaces.
• Investigate and document security incidents, accidents, and unusual activities.
• Enforce hotel policies and safety procedures with professionalism.
• Coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
• Assist with crowd management during events and busy periods.
• Prepare accurate incident, shift, and security reports.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a security, safety, or protective services role, preferably within a hotel or customer-facing environment.
• Valid security certification or licence where applicable.
• Strong observational skills and sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions during emergencies.
• Good physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and emergency response procedures.
• Proficiency in writing clear and accurate reports.
