We are seeking a detail-driven Safety & Compliance Officer to ensure all operational areas meet the highest health, safety, and regulatory standards while maintaining a calm, guest-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who notices what others miss, stays ahead of risks, and ensures every department operates within safe and compliant practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily hotel operations to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and security standards
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, kitchens, public areas, and staff zones
• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly
• Maintain updated safety documentation, reports, and incident logs
• Ensure fire safety systems, emergency exits, and equipment are regularly checked and functional
• Train staff on safety procedures, emergency response, and compliance standards
• Support investigations and reporting of accidents or incidents when they occur
• Collaborate with department heads to enforce operational safety policies
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and operational compliance
• Previous experience in a hospitality or facility management environment preferred
• Ability to identify risks and apply practical solutions quickly
• Good communication skills for training and staff engagement
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
• Basic knowledge of fire safety, hygiene standards, and risk assessment procedures
• Professional attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
