Room Service Attendant

Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences? We are looking for a courteous and detail-oriented Room Service Attendant to join our hotel team. In this role, you will ensure guests receive prompt, accurate, and professional in-room dining service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process room service orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare trays and trolleys according to hotel presentation standards.
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and courteously.
• Set up in-room dining orders and explain menu items when required.
• Clear used trays, dishes, and service equipment from guest rooms promptly.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure timely order delivery.
• Verify guest orders before delivery to ensure accuracy.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and special dietary requirements professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service pantry and service areas.
• Monitor inventory of room service supplies and report shortages.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Adhere to hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and service procedures.
• Assist with banquet, restaurant, or other food and beverage operations when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in room service, food and beverage service, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to carry food trays and service equipment safely.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
