Room Service Attendant

Job Description

A busy hotel is seeking a courteous and detail-oriented Room Service Attendant to deliver exceptional in-room dining experiences for guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service, working in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and professionally
• Set up meal trays, trolleys, and dining arrangements according to hotel standards
• Collect used trays and service equipment from guest rooms and corridors
• Ensure orders are accurate before delivery
• Respond politely to guest requests and inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness of room service stations and equipment
• Assist with inventory checks and restocking supplies
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and hotel service procedures
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism
• Good attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Physical ability to carry trays and move service carts safely
