Revenue Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an analytical and commercially minded Revenue Manager to join our hotel team. This is an excellent opportunity to influence financial success by developing revenue strategies, monitoring market trends, and maximising profitability across all revenue-generating areas of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing and revenue strategies to maximise occupancy and profitability.
• Monitor daily booking patterns, market demand, and competitor pricing.
• Forecast revenue performance using historical data and market insights.
• Analyse key performance indicators and prepare regular revenue reports for management.
• Manage room inventory, availability, and rate distribution across sales channels.
• Collaborate with the sales, marketing, front office, and reservations teams to optimise business opportunities.
• Identify new revenue streams and recommend promotional strategies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing campaigns and adjust strategies as required.
• Ensure revenue management practices align with business objectives and financial targets.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging revenue management technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in revenue management, hotel reservations, front office management, or commercial operations within a hotel.
• Strong understanding of revenue management principles, pricing strategies, and forecasting techniques.
• Proficiency in property management systems, revenue management software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into effective business strategies.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
