Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for an organised and service-driven Reservations Supervisor to lead the reservations team and ensure every guest booking is handled with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating daily operations, improving booking processes, and delivering outstanding guest service from the very first point of contact.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the reservations department.
• Oversee room reservations through phone, email, online platforms, and third-party channels.
• Ensure all bookings are processed accurately and promptly.
• Monitor room availability, occupancy levels, and booking trends.
• Train, mentor, and support reservations team members.
• Handle complex booking requests, group reservations, and guest enquiries.
• Resolve reservation-related concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Coordinate closely with the front office, housekeeping, and sales teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports.
• Maintain accurate guest records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Assist in developing strategies to maximise room revenue and occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, service standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel reservations, front office, or a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of hotel reservation systems and booking procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to analyse reservation data and prepare operational reports.
