We are looking for a Quality Control Officer who enjoys paying attention to the little details and takes pride in getting things right. Responsibilities

• Inspect food ingredients, preparation processes, and finished dishes for quality and consistency.
• Monitor food storage temperatures, labelling, expiry dates, and handling procedures.
• Conduct regular checks on cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Identify quality issues and recommend practical corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality control records, checklists, and inspection reports.
• Work with kitchen and restaurant teams to improve operational standards.
• Support compliance with food safety regulations and internal procedures.
• Investigate guest complaints relating to food quality and help prevent recurring issues.
• Participate in staff training on food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
• Report significant quality concerns to management promptly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Hospitality Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in quality control, food safety, restaurant operations, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and observation skills.
• Good record-keeping and reporting abilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work confidently with kitchen and restaurant teams.
• Professional approach with a practical, hands-on attitude.
• Relevant food safety or quality assurance certification is an added advantage.
