Purchasing Officer

Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our restaurant team. If you enjoy negotiating, building supplier relationships, and ensuring the kitchen never runs out of essentials, this role is for you. You’ll play a key part in keeping operations smooth, costs controlled, and quality consistent.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase food, beverages, and restaurant supplies
• Negotiate prices and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely reorders
• Track deliveries and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports

Qualifications

• Previous experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in hospitality
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of inventory management system
